When Eric Grahek launched EG Dominates Podcast, he wanted to bring a fresh perspective to the world of dentistry. Each episode featured Eric visiting different dental practices, diving deep into engaging discussions with fellow dentists about the latest techniques, patient care, and industry innovations.
Then everything changed. In June 2024, a volleyball injury led to a canker sore that wouldn't heal. Because of his deep connections in the dental industry, Eric got examined within weeks. The diagnosis: Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Stage 2 progressing toward Stage 3. A twelve-hour surgery followed.
His career in dental sales, from being one of the youngest salesmen at Cintas Corporation to breaking into pharmaceutical sales and eventually dental with BioHorizons, had unknowingly built the network that would save his life. The relationships he formed gave him roughly six weeks of head start on treatment, time he couldn't afford to lose.
“If I wasn't in dental, I would have probably waited another two or three weeks to have it looked at. And it would have been too late. God put all these people in my life for a reason. I want to take this experience and give back. I think that is my calling.”

Early detection is everything. Every week counts when fighting oral cancer. Eric's network saved him six critical weeks of treatment time.
